Oct 25-26 BSA Camp/Hike was a blast. Everyone had a lot of fun. I am still working on getting a better camera...here is one shot of me on the hike. :)-

Well as of Monday the 13th (Oct) I am back to work. Limited duty; they will not let me work in the field yet, but I am OK enough to sit in the office and write a manual.

Loads of fun (not). Still another 30-60 days until I am in the field.
Keeping busy doing Boy Scouts too. It is a wonder I have time to work.

I guess I am still Torn Asunder.

Will I have to rename the blog once I am fully healed? Will I even have time to blog once I am fully healed. lol

I recently re- formatted my PC and think I finally have a great set up. So that makes me happy.

It is sorta a cross between XP and Vista. I like it.

Now THIS looks awesome. A iPhone laptop. I just need a iPhone lol.

The Old Goat Patrol (High Adventure Team Training Patrol). My patrol named itself the Old Goats. The class was a Backpacking Class to train the adults for going on a 50 mile hike with the Boy Scouts. Was a good class. Part of it was a 10 mile hike and camp out. One of the patrol members took a photo he said he would email later, so I'll post that later. In the mean time I need a bed and a aspirin. lol

A few cosmetic changes to "ta".

Busy as all get out with the kids and family. Newest update from Doc is that on Oct 13th I will return to work. Light/Limited duty, for a few months. Shoulder is better but still hurts...heh.

*I* "get to" go back to work on Monday. One last weekend to recover/relax. Shoulder does feel better, however, I really do not like to work in a office on light duty. I like to be out in the field....oh well. Over all it is good to be healing and it could be worse....granted it could be MUCH BETTER check out this article. $4WOW . Shesh, I guess if I hurry up and get a PHD maybe I can be her understudy.

I just wrote the longest email I have ever written to any one. Ever. It was like.....about as long as one of the blog entries here. (Yes that is long to me). I accidentally received an email from Dan Frederick (on his iPhone). After checking to make sure it was not a spoof email or something, I realized there is another Dan Frederick out there. lol no....not....but my name is so unique?

Anyway, I wrote him back and informed him that I was not very happy that the other Dan Frederick had a iPhone and I did not! Not fair! As it turns out he is quite the interesting fellow. Not sure he wants to be linked to so I will not. However, I like him. How could I not? He has a great name after all. As it turns out our emails are VERY similar. Fun, fun.

Turns out his blog is much much more interesting to read than mine too - go figure.

Can you tell that I figured out how to take a screen shot on the iTouch? lol I have four pages of apps now - that's what those little dots are - to tell you what screen you are on. A lot of the apps are just funny (once) but some like Pandora, Lifecast, and Epocrates Rx are very useful. Well to me. The Rx one is usefull for looking up pill info at work (narcotics stuff).

Ok. So damn it the iTouch REALLY needs a camera built into it. This is one of the major reasons that I want the iPhone. For the camera. lol. So until I get a iPhone (Xmas 2008 for Liberty and me) I will just have to use the App that lets you scribble. So here you go, a "photo" of me standing in front of a mirror. Yup, thats me......need a digital camera.

EDIT: there we go I had all these posts I have written and lost. Lifecast did a update and then it would not work. I just deleted it off my iTouch and re set it up. Test! Works. Great. ttyl
